Blindology Blinds vertical window blinds are most importantly available in a wide and varied spectrum of colours. Therefore they are most suited for any room and decor. No mater what your needs as an individual are.
As a result therefore, Blindology Blinds vertical blinds have a superb selection of fabrics, of which they range from plain fabrics, all the way through to patterned fabrics.
Also included above all, there are various specialist fabrics. These can and will perform a specific function.
For example; perhaps in helping to reduce the glare from the sun, for visual display screen (TV’s/monitors), or the requirement of a need for a flame retardant fabric, due to safety requirements. Or even the need for a special coating to be used in damp areas, such as kitchens/bathrooms.
Most importantly, all of Blindology’s vertical window blind fabrics are wipe cleanable (using a damp sponge. This enables customers to keep their vertical widow blinds in tip top condition, for years to come.
Blindology Blinds vertical blind fabrics, are available in 2 different widths, 89mm (3.5″) and 127mm (5″) louvre/slat widths.
The 89mm slats are ideal for the majority of customers. Though as another option, customers can opt for the 127mm slats. Of which they are more ideally suited for large or wide window openings.
Available options for operating Blindology’s vertical blinds; this is mainly due to perhaps any opening windows and doors.
Options are; drawn to the left or right. Opposite opening from the controls, and split in the middle.
Though this really can be dependant on using either the chain/cord option or the wand option. Which offers the optimum flexibility in how these vertical blinds operate, and also to help control the shading or privacy depending on customers requirements or needs.
The tilt control: Angle of the louvres/slats – is controlled via the metal chain or the wand (please see below.)
The operation for opening/closing of the blind, is operated via a cord or the wand (please see below.)
However, customers can now choose the new wand option.
The new wand option now means, that the vertical blinds can be opened and closed with the wand, and that the slats can be tilted by twisting the wand. Which is classed as a child safety wand, rather than the cord/chain.
Either way, Blindology’s vertical blinds are very easy to use and of the best quality.
There also is an option to have “vertical blind slat sealed pockets”, these are vertical blind slats which are chain-less.
This is where the vertical blind slats bottom weight pocket is completely sealed.
Don’t be confused with just “vertical blind slat chain-less”, the chain-less option is where the vertical blind weights are not sealed, and the weight is still visible, though there is no chain.
Some customers prefer the sealed pocket option, whilst others prefer the chain-less option.
Or the other option is to have the normal pocket weight and chain option. Though the chain is commonly known in the trade as a “stabilising chain”, and it does help to minimise the “sway” when operating vertical blind slats.
